Oligomeric Procyanidin, or as it is more common known, OPC, is an antioxidant found in grape seed oil. In fact, research shows that it is a particularly strong kind of antioxidant as it is thought to be at least 50 times stronger than vitamin C and E. Due to these characteristics, grape seed oil is suited for protection again cellular damage. In addition to this, it is also has anti-inflammatory properties meaning it is able to provide pain relief for arthritis. Other benefits of this magnificent oil include its apparent ability to delay the onset of Alzheimer’s according to scientists from Adelaide and its ability to reduce split ends.
Apricot Kernel Oil
If you have sensitive skin and can’t seem to find a beauty product that will agree with you, apricot kernel oil could be what you’ve been looking for! As a non-irritant, this oil is gathered from the kernels of apricots and is perfect for use during massage. Properties of this child friendly oil include anti-aging, anti-bacterial and anti-septic abilities. Plus, users also gain a natural source of omega 6 and 9!
